Brisbane Chef, Dominique Rizzo, was at Moree on a Plate. She is pictured here with Gwydir Grove's Jenni Birch and Margi Kirkby.
Dominique conducted cooking demonstrations throughout the Food and Wine Festival and she was particularly impressed with the Gwydir Grove family oil, which is so versatile with its fresh and fruity taste.

Gwydir Grove Wins Best Product at ‘Nosh on the Namoi’ 2009 |
 |
Nosh on the Namoi’s seventh annual event at the Crossing Theatre, Narrabri, was a ‘lucky 7’. The Nosh proved even more successful than last year, drew a huge crowd and was the first rain affected Nosh so far.
Celebrity and television personality, Chef Ed Halmagyi, from Channel 7’s Better Homes and Garden’s, entertained the crowd with cooking demonstrations using local produce, which is show-cased at the annual food and wine event.
Ed announced the winner of the Best Product, Gwydir Grove Olives, and told the crowd that he has cooked all over the world and Gwydir Grove would have a place on the menu of top restaurants. Ed particularly singled out the Gwydir Grove Manzanillo paté as being world class.
To sample some of Ed Halmagyi’s recipes, go to our recipe section.
